A Twitter poll conducted by trade analyst Taran Adarsh asking public if “Sultan” will cross Rs. 300 crore box office collections in India has had a majority of them voting in the affirmative.

Sultan is an upcoming 2016 Indian sports-drama film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films banner, the film stars Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles. Around 61 percent of the voters have opined that “Sultan” would do business of more than Rs. 300 crore in India, while 23 percent of the voters are doubtful, and 12 percent said there was 50-50 chance, while the remaining four percent opted for “Can’t say.” The total number of votes was 14,533. “PK” had had lifetime earnings of Rs. 340.8 crore and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” had earned Rs. 320.34 crore at the Indian box office, according to Bollywood Hungama.

After the huge success of “Bajrangi Bhaijaan“, expectations from “Sultan” flick are very high. Whether it turns out to be another of Salman’s blockbusters is a matter of time now. Both Salman and Anushka will be seen as wrestlers in the movie. The film also features Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh.
